This metal encapsulated safety switch is used to monitor moveable separating protective devices (e.g. sliding or rotating doors). The protective device is kept shut and locked by the safety switch until risk of injury from potentially dangerous machine parts (e.g. run-on movements) has passed.
The protective device is released by applying voltage to the magnets fitted in the safety switch. The locking status of the doors is monitored at all times.
The two LED displays ensure that it is easy to see the location of the safety and monitoring switching element at all times (even from long distances).
