The SPIRIT1 is a very low-power RF transceiver, intended for RF wireless applications in the sub-1GHz band. It is designed to operate both in the license-free ISM and SRD frequency bands at 169, 315, 433, 868 and 915MHz, but can also be programmed to operate at other frequencies in the 300-348MHz, 387-470MHz and 779-956MHz bands. SPIRIT1 is fully compatible with the wireless M-Bus protocol.
