ADL5513-EVALZ is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board
For normal operation, it requires a 5V / 50mA power supply
The power supply should be connected to the test loops labeled VPOS and GND
The RF input signal is applied through the SMA connector labeled RFIN
The output signal is accessable through the SMA connector labeled VOUT
The temperature adjust node is connected through a test loop mounted on the circuit board
Optionally a voltage divider powered by VPOS can be constructed using resistors, R8 and R9
The circuit board can also accommode a 26 pin header through which the power supply, ground, temperature adjust node and output signal pins are accessable
The circuit board ships without this header installed
The ADL5513 is a 1MHz to 4GHz, 80dB Logarithmic Detector/Controller
A demodulating logarithmic amplifier, capable of accurately converting an RF input signal to a corresponding decibel-scaled output
It employs the progressive compression technique over a cascaded amplifier chain, each stage of which is equipped with a detector cell
