ADL5380-30A-EVALZ is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board designed to allow easy evaluation of all features of the ADL5380 at RF input frequencies less than 3GHz
The evaluation board integrates bypassable transformers to allow single ended or differential baseband I and Q outputs, and an option to drive the LO inputs single ended or differential by an external synthesizer, and the evaluation board requires only a single supply within the range of 4.75V to 5.25V
The ADL5380 is a broadband quadrature I-Q demodulator that covers an RF/IF input frequency range from 400MHz to 6GHz. With a NF = 10.9dB, IP1dB = 11.6dBm, and IIP3 = 29.7dBm @ 900MHz, the ADL5380 demodulator offers outstanding dynamic range suitable for the demanding infrastructure direct-conversion requirements. The differential RF inputs provide a well-behaved broadband input impedance of 50 Ohms and are best driven from a 1:1 balun for optimum performance
