The Renesas SuperH SH2A family of Microcontrollers has a 32-bit RISC architecture featuring fast performances that support the industry standards of 30ns interrupt response time. The series includes SuperH controller with flash as well as the SuperH controller ROMless devices. The Super H controller (Flash) is suitable for high speed functions and the ROMless controller is designed more for general purpose. The SH2A Flash MCU features integrated MONOS Flash and the ROMless microcontroller has no MMU therefore is suitable for running RTOS and Linux. Their applications include motor control, induction hearting, connectivity as well as real time control.
