Souriau 8STA series, size 12 plug connectors are derived from MIL-DTL-38999 specifications and developed primarily for the motorsport market. They are durable, lightweight plug connectors with a superb tolerance to vibration, impact and harsh environments. These Souriau 8STA motorsport connectors are small and light weight circular plug connectors suitable for Formula 1, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, kart racing, boat racing and many other motorsports and also many other applications that require a robust circular connector such as military, including UAV, ground vehicles and Infantry interconnections where size and weight are an important design consideration.

Souriau 8STA series circular plug connectors size 12 feature a colour coded banding system for easy identification and mate in 1/3 of a turn with an audible click, these motorsport developed 8STA connectors are available with male or female gender contacts in multiple contact layout versions.
