Evaluation Kit for HFBR-1712TZ and HFBR-2412TZ Fibre Optic Components

The HFBR-0542Z evaluation kit is designed to facilitate the evaluation of Avago fibre optic devices; transmitter: HFBR-1712TZ and receiver: HFBR-2412TZ.
The HFBR-1712TZ transmitter uses a VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) which can be efficiently coupled into fibre to enable high data rates with low power consumption.
The HFBR-24x2Z fibre optic receiver is designed to operate at up to 5MBd and incorporates an integrated photo IC containing a photodetector and dc amplifier driving an open-collector Schottky output transistor.
